This morning I was emailed a video, which dates from July 20th 2010 - the day before the 2nd test between Australia and Pakistan at Headingley. The video, which I have now sent onto the ICC, shows a representative of the ECB paying money to Mohammad Amir, Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif of the Pakistan cricket team.In return for the money, Amir and Asif were to pull their fingers out and actually play so well against Australia, in the test starting the following day, that the Aussies would be dismissed for a painfully low figure - a disaster for their self-confidence in this, an Ashes year.
