I logged onto cricinfo to check on the days events and saw that Virender Sehwag had scored 284*. I thought ‘bloody ‘ell, that’s pretty good!’, so I went and watched the highlights and, yes it was good. It was amazing.

While just re-reading my last blog post and going over the England ODI squad for the South Africa tour, I just noticed the surprising absence of Owais Shah. Instead they seem to have replaced him with Alastair Cook or Sajid Mahmood.
